Monitoring IP domain SNMP and ICMP polling traffic

This took a while to work out .. but it appears to be possible to control logging of SNMP and ICMP packets used during Smarts IP polling. The operations of the "SM_Trace" class are what you need. When you turn monitoring on, the resulting trace info gets written to the domain's log file - which can grow very quickly as a result (so dont leave it turned on for too long).

To turn tracing of SNMP polling packets on

dmctl -s DOMAIN_NAME invoke SM_Trace::SM-Trace setLevel poller.packets 1

To turn SNMP tracing off..

dmctl -s DOMAIN_NAME invoke SM_Trace::SM-Trace setLevel poller.packets 0

To turn tracing of PING polling packets on

dmctl -s DOMAIN_NAME invoke SM_Trace::SM-Trace setLevel pinger.packets 1

To turn PING tracing off..

dmctl -s DOMAIN_NAME invoke SM_Trace::SM-Trace setLevel pinger.packets 0
